Yes—since the cabin is located in the beautiful Smoky Mountains, you may come into contact with occasional bugs or insects like carpenter bees, wasps, stink bugs, Asian lady beetles (they stink when squished & do bite occasionally), woodpeckers &, on very rare occurrences, larger wildlife like bears have been reported in the area. This is part of the natural mountain experience however we take regular steps to keep the cabin clean, well-maintained, & treated with pest control for rodents (mice & flying squirrels) but we recommend keeping doors and windows closed when not in use, cars locked & trash bin out front secured.

Yes, the bugs (specifically Asian lady beetles) are typically worst during winter months as they seek out heat & shelter from the harsh elements outside.

Asian lady beetles, often found in the Smokies, were introduced to the U.S. primarily to act as natural biological controls for agricultural and forestry pests. Within the ecosystem, they assist by consuming large quantities of aphids, spider mites, and scale insects, which helps protect various trees and plants from infestation.

 

The property uses well water, which may have a natural sulfur smell. However, the water is filtered through a whole home water filtration system along with a sulfur tank removal system to ensure it is safe and suitable for drinking, cooking, and bathing.

Our cabin is located in beautiful Sevierville, Tennessee, nestled in the Smoky Mountains with stunning views while still being just minutes from all the area’s top attractions in Pigeon Forge.

Our cabin comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests in your group with plenty of space to relax, unwind, and enjoy your stay together.

Our cabin consists of 2 bedrooms with queen size beds that can sleep 2 guests along with 2 sleeper sofas in the living room & game room that can also sleep 2 guests each.

Check-in is at 4pm EST and check-out time is at 10am EST. Booking info will be provided 24 hours before check-in, ensuring you have everything you need for a smooth arrival and departure.

Yes! The cabin is accessible year-round. While a majority of the roads getting to our cabin are paved, the last quarter mile of mountain road is gravel (non-paved); weather conditions in winter can occasionally impact travel.

Our cancellation policy is clearly outlined on our website’s “Property” page & will be sent to you at the time of booking so you can plan with confidence.

As with many mountain properties, the driveway has an incline, but it is manageable for most standard vehicles. We recommend pulling straight into the driveway vs backing in. Guests have found it is easiest to back straight out into the road to leave the cabin vs an uphill climb at an angle to pull out of the driveway.

4-wheel drive is not typically required, but it is recommended during winter months or inclement weather.

There is ample parking for at least 2 vehicles in the driveway & additional parking available on the side of the road if needed during your stay.

Yes! The cabin includes WiFi so you can stay connected—or disconnect when you choose. Instructions on how to connect are provided upon check-in. Speeds typically range from 50-100mbps.

Cell service can vary in the mountains depending on your carrier, but both Verizon & AT&T service has been verified & guests have not reported any loss of service during their stay. WiFi calling is also available.

Yes—relax and unwind in the hot tub while enjoying the beautiful mountain views. (if for any reason the hot tub is not working during your stay, try checking the circuit breaker on the front side of the cabin to make sure the hot tub has power.)

Yes, the cabin features a cozy fireplace & an outdoor firepit, perfect for relaxing evenings (The indoor fireplace is operational seasonally from October 1st to March 1st).
