Hi there! We’re a married couple of 13 years who took a leap of faith into our very first investment property — this cabin. We’re not a management company or a large portfolio of rentals; this is our one and only short-term rental, and it truly means the world to us.
We were both raised in Arkansas and met while attending the University of Central Arkansas, where we quickly bonded over music. We met in college marching band, marching right next to each other, and that’s where our story began. We’re both brass musicians and still play today — one of us on trombone and the other on trumpet. Music has always been a big part of our lives, and we love how it brings people and memories together.
Today, we live in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and have been visiting Gatlinburg since the early 2000s. After years of trips to the Smokies, we finally made the dream a reality and purchased this cabin in October 2024. From day one, we’ve poured our hearts into making it a place we’re genuinely proud of — somewhere we’d want to stay ourselves and return to again and again.
We don’t have kids, but we’re big-time animal lovers and share our home with quite the crew: three cats and three dachshunds who keep life fun and full. That love for comfort, care, and a welcoming atmosphere carries into how we treat our cabin and our guests.
Our favorite part of the cabin is hands-down the view (it never gets old), with the hot tub coming in a very close second. Whether it’s morning coffee or a quiet evening soak, our hope is that when you stay here, you’ll feel the same sense of peace, comfort, and appreciation for the Smoky Mountains that keeps bringing us back.
